September 10,1982 Motors Stolen by Bold Thieves Thieves have been active from time to time along the South Shore water• front, but what appears to be the most brazen foray to date occurred here in early August. According to a witness who did not realize until too late what was going on, two people helped themselves to Alex Schnelke's dinghy and went for a ride around the harbor. They removed outboard motors from five yachts swinging on hooks. Three of the victims were Club members. The looters came ashore, put the dinghy away, loaded the motors into a white Cadillac and drove away. The police are looking. Besides the obvious lesson — keep
