Abstract: A checklist of deep water gastropods belonging to the genus Cylindriscala is presented based mainly on data from the literature. We list a total of 21 species and include information on the geographic and bathymetric distribution of each taxon. The generic position of eight species previously included in this genus is questioned and requires a review. Introduction al. 2009). Moreover, the record of Cylindriscala acus from The genus Cylindriscala de Boury, 1909 includes the western Atlantic is considered somewhat dubious epitoniids restricted to deep waters (Bouchet and Warén (Bouchet and Warén 1986).
