The Founding of an Army Releases New Trailer and Announced IMAX

Beijing- 11/07/2017- The Founding of An Army is scheduled to be

released on July 28. Today, the film releases a new trailer, in which Liu ye,

Zhu Yawen, Huang Zhizhong, Wang Jingchun, OuHao,

Liu Haoran, Ma Tianyu and other cast played as revolutionary

pioneers go through fire and water to fight for Chinese. Directed

by Andrew Lau, the war epic is one of the highest budget films in 2017,

offering the ultimate experience for the audience. The film will also

be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® format and released

into more than 420 IMAX® theatres in China.

“It is these leaders’ brave and loyalty to the country that has led to

the great founding of the army," said Andrew Lau, “In the film, I would

like to reappear their vigorousness and passion in their youth. ". As a

thrilling war epic, the film will bring an extraordinary visual experience to

the audience, especially in the IMAX format. The IMAX version of the

film will vividly depict several famous events such as Nanchang

Uprising, Sanheba Battle and The Autumn Harvest

Uprising with its spectacular image quality, unsurpassed

brightness and amazing clarity. The Founding of An Army is produced by China Film Co., Ltd., Bona Film

Group Limited., Nanchang TV and August First Film

Studio, Sanciyuan Entertainment Co., Ltd. and Media Asia Films Ltd. The

film is directed by Andrew Lau, and Han Sanping will serve as general

initiator and art director and Huang Jianxin will serve as executive

producer.
