BRIGADIER GENERAL KENNETH T. BIBB JR.

Brig. Gen. Kenneth T. Bibb Jr. is the Commander, 618th Air Operations Center (Tanker Control Center), , Illinois. The 618th AOC (TACC) is responsible for operational planning, scheduling, directing and assessing a fleet of approximately 1,100 aircraft in support of combat delivery and strategic airlift, air refueling and aeromedical operations around the world.

General Bibb received his commission from the Air Force Academy in 1991. Since then, he has flown as a flight examiner aircraft commander in the C­12 and C­5, worked as a presidential advance agent on , and served as Chief, CSAF Briefing Team at Headquarters Air Force. As a lieutenant colonel, he commanded the 9th Airlift Squadron, , . As a colonel on the Joint Staff, his division led global force posture and Unified Command Plan initiatives. He later commanded the 100th Air Refueling Wing, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom, and most recently served as the Vice Commander, 618th Air Operations Center (TACC), Scott AFB, Illinois.

General Bibb is a command pilot with more than 5,000 hours in tanker, airlift and trainer aircraft.
