Opa & Oma Together is a book about grandparents of German heritage who have grown together in life on their farm in Minnesota. After fifty years, they still tend their farm, now teaching their grandchildren the values of caring for the land and its creatures. This simple and peaceful intergenerational story is similar to the lives many rural people remember with pride. Oma Finds a Miracle is at tale with a spiritual message where spirit, strength, and motherhood shine forth. A grandmother relives a story of realizing that a calf has been born in a snowstorm when she was home alone on the farm. Can her determination and resourcefulness achieve a farmland miracle by saving the calf in time? Big Brother Has Wheels is an award-winning book that features a child who has a passion about wheels. As he grows, he tries and learns to drive a variety of vehicles with wheels. Each page is a new adventure of Big Brother’s lifetime of zipping and zooming, but it always circles back to the ones he loves. Visiting the Visitors is also an award-winning holiday book that received a positive review in The Catholic Spirit, the Minneapolis-St. Paul archdiocesean newspaper http://thecatholicspirit.com/digital-edition/digital-edition-december-13-2012/ (page 15). On a silent and magical night, three children and their grandparents follow a starlit path bearing gifts to thank the visitors of centuries ago for their historic and holy visit. Minnesota Gold is a 400-page, full-color, coffee table book that features a collection of 57 Minnesota athletes who competed on the world stage—primarily the Olympics. Packy interviewed 50 of the athletes in person and the stories highlight their lives, perseverance, and achievements. It includes 2012 and 2016 Olympian and current Gopher coach Lindsay Whalen and 1980 Miracle on Ice hockey team member Buzz Schneider, hockey legend Henry Boucha and and gold medalist cross country skier Jessie Diggins. It also includes athletes from every part of the state in a variety of sports. The retail price of the four children’s books is $15.95 - $17.95 each, but will be available for discounts of 40%.
