    LATE BRONZE AGE: MEDITERRANEAN IMPACTS IN THE WESTERN END OF THE IBERIAN PENINSULA (ACTIONS AND REACTIONS)1 Raquel Vilaça Department of History, Archaeology and Arts. University of Coimbra. CEAUCP / FCT. e-mail: [email protected] ABSTRACT While examining the impact of metals over indigenous contexts, the author constructs a perspective about the West- ern End of the Iberian Peninsula in the Late Bronze Age. Amongst other things, it was possible to account for wide- spread bronze production, usually domestic, involving modest means of production and aimed at local and regional consumption. Some Mediterranean elements also occur within the same contexts, showing new shapes, functions, styles, materials, technologies, ritual practices, but Mediterranean metals play a minor role. Hybridization as cultural phenomenon is also possible. Some items of Mediterranean fi liation are also represented on Warrior Stelae, express- ing the role played locally by the «outside» in the reinforcement of social inequalities. All these evidences seem to have been residual, circumscribed to the circle of the elites. So these elements neither expressed pro-Mediterranean acculturation, nor created a profound effect on the lives of the communities. In this dynamic, several communities played with different strategies, as a consequence of the specifi c cultural heritages shaping them —in fact the area studied does not show homogeneity during the Middle and Late Bronze Age.

En aquest cas: Sarrià, Gràcia, Clot i Poblenou. Totes tres van ser les úniques que van rebre de Cerdà el nom, ja que els altres carrers van ser batejats per Víctor Balaguer. El seu desenvolupament va ser més aviat lent i en tres grans etapes ben diferenciades. PRIMERA ETAPA La primera etapa va girar al voltant de la influència del passeig de Gràcia. En efecte, el 1884 va començar amb timidesa l’urbanització entre l’esmentat passeig i Pau Claris. El 1896 s’estenia ja entre Bruc i Tuset, que no era res més que el camp del mateix nom, que era el del mas i el seu propietari. El 1901 aquell extrem de la nova Barcelona era tan inhòspit, que el marquès de Robert es reconeixia més segur portant pistola en arribar tard a casa, quan venia del Liceu. Es curiós que abans d’acabar segle XIX (1891) li fos canviat el nom, almenys en aquell sector evocat fins ara, i que pertanyia a Gràcia; li van atorgar el d’ Argüelles.

    RESTRICCIONES APLICABLES A GALICIA 15 ENERO DE 2021 Mediante Decreto 3/2021, de 13 de enero, de la Presidencia de la Xunta de Galicia, y Orden de 13 de enero de 2021 de la Consellería de Sanidad, se regulan nuevas modificaciones a las restricciones aplicables al ámbito de nuestra Comunidad Autónoma. Se mantienen las obligaciones de cautela y protección, obligatoriedad de mascarilla, mantenimiento de seguridad interpersonal, higiene y prevención. Toda Galicia entra en nivel medio-alto o en nivel de máximas restricciones, no quedando ya ningún municipio en nivel básico ni medio. LIMITACION DE LA MOVILIDAD NOCTURNA Con efectos desde las 00:00 horas del 15 de enero de 2021, el denominado “toque de queda” queda establecido desde las 22:00 horas.     Proceedings of the Second International Symposium on Fire Economics, Planning, and Policy: A Global View Forest Fire Prevention Plans in National Parks: Ordesa Nacional Park and Monte Perdido1 Basilio Rada,2 Luis Marquina3 Summary Protected natural spaces contribute to the well being of society in various ways such as maintaining biological diversity and quality of the landscape, regulation of water sources and nutrient cycles, production of soil, protection against natural catastrophes and the provision of recreation areas, education, science and culture, aspects which attain maximum relevance in the lands under the protection of the National Park. The singular nature and the high degree of protection to a large extent limit management, since the principles of conservation and natural processes prevail in these areas. Nevertheless the inevitable responsibility to ensure now and in future, the ecological economic and social functions of these spaces goes on to assume a management model on the lines of compliance with the Pan European Criteria for Sustainable Forest Management. In 2000 management of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido Park , in the Spanish Pyrenees which was declared a natural park in 1918, took the initiative to devise a Plan for the Prevention of Forest Fires in the park and its surroundings which may be a reference for the other parks comprising the network of Spanish National Parks. The Plan analyses the effectiveness of current protection resources, supported by cartography which aids decision making, fuel maps, fire risk, visibility, territorial isochrones and areas which at the same time plan the necessary measures to guarantee the protection of this space, which in many areas is inaccessible due to the steep landscape.
