These items may be inspected in the superintendent's office of the Anaheim Union High School District, at 501 N. Crescent Way in Anaheim, California. INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS INFORMATION ITEM The Board of Trustees would like to recognize our community stakeholders for their interest in the Anaheim Union High School District and for attending our Board meeting. Thank you for your participation and contribution as we create an educational environment that graduates socially aware, civic-minded students who are college and career ready for the 21st century. In addition, Board of Trustees President Piercy will introduce dignitaries in attendance. 7. REPORTS INFORMATION ITEM 7.1 Princioals' Report Dr. Jodie Wales, Cypress High School principal, and Amber Houston, Lexington Junior High School principal, will present a report on their school site branding plan. PRESENTATION INFORMATION ITEM Measure H Citizens' Oversight Committee's Annual Report (September 2016- February 2017) Background Information: As part of the responsibility of a school district in the passing of a General Obligation Bond, the Education Code, Chapter 1.5, Strict Accountability in Local School Construction Bonds Act of 2000, requires the appointment of a Citizens' Oversight Committee. The committee's duties include informing the public concerning the District's expenditure of the bond proceeds, reviewing the expenditure reports produced by the District, and presenting an annual report with a focus on bond expenditure compliance to the Board of Trustees. Current Consideration: The Citizens' Oversight CornrniLtee met on various occasions since September 2016, and is ready to fulfill its duties to inform the public of the committee's proceedings, and activities for the year. The annual report will be presented to the Board of Trustees in public session, and will be posted on the Blueprint for the Future website. Budget Implication: There is no impact to the budget. Staff Recom mend.ation: Although this is an information item only, requiring no formal action by the Board of Trustees, it is recommended that the Board officially receive the Citizens' Oversight Committee's annual report. Savage’s seventh recruiting class at UCLA features five pitchers, four infielders, one catcher and one outfielder. “These incoming players are fantastic additions to our program, and we are really looking forward to seeing what they can do at the collegiate level,” Savage said. “We have brought in a balanced recruiting class, from a pitcher and position player perspective. Our coaching staff believes that these guys will be able to contribute from the start.” Two of the 11 incoming players, Kevin Kramer and Jake Ehret, were selected in the MLB Draft last June. Kramer, a freshman infielder from Turlock, Calif., was selected in the 25th round of the MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians. Ehret, a freshman right-hander from San Dimas, Calif., was chosen in the 37th round by the Florida Marlins. Outfielder Eric Filia-Snyder, a four-year varsity standout at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, Calif., twice earned Sunset League MVP acclaim in addition to securing first-team All-CIF accolades as a senior.     1 I PREFACE The North Orange County Regional Occupational Program (NOCROP) 2019 WASC Self-Study Process has been a collaborative effort over the last eighteen months involving various stakeholders. During this time, the WASC Leadership Team facilitated opportunities to reflect on NOCROP’s mission of student success and the Career Technical Education experience we offer. NOCROP’s self-study process began in October 2017 with the review of accreditation criteria by Dana Lynch, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. In December 2017, the WASC Executive Team was formed to facilitate the process and Jennifer Prado, Patient Care Pathways Instructor was selected to serve as the 2019 Self-Study Coordinator. The self-study process was officially launched with a WASC Executive Team Meeting in February 2018, where Focus Group Chairs and Co-Chairs were assigned, and timelines were established. Focus Group work related to students and instruction commenced via Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings during March, April, and May 2018. Individual meetings for the remaining Focus Groups were held during those same months. The focus on reviewing data and reflecting on its meaning has become more important and work was started early. The Educational Services Department provided data updates to instructional staff at the start of PLC meetings and guided them to reflect on its meaning, impact on them individually, and impact to the organization. Further review of data took place during NOCROP’s Back-to- School In-Service in August 2018 and at Spring In-Service in January 2019, which resulted in the implications identified in Chapter 1 of this document.

Students must be an incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student for the 2021-22 school year from one of our five partner districts: • Anaheim Union High School District • Brea Olinda Unified School District • Fullerton Joint Union High School District • Los Alamitos Unified School District • Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District 2. Students must be available for the entire course schedule. NOCROP cannot make accommodations for personal schedules. Holidays and breaks are based on the school district calendar where the class is held. 3. Students must have transportation to attend and be picked up from class on time. NOCROP and its partner districts cannot provide transportation. Application Process See the Career Guidance Specialist at your high school to pre-register. Please note the following: • Submitting a pre-registration request to your Career Guidance Specialist or Counselor does not guarantee enrollment into the course. • ROP may cancel a course offering at any time. • NOCROP reports the attendance hours and final grades to the students’ high school.
