Seeking to Expand CBY Bulletin Team

Last summer, the new shul administration decided to expand the scope and improve the quality of Bnai Yeshurun communications. The weekly bulletin which you are currently reading, a critical element in that improvement plan, has been received quite well by the membership. However, to continue to publish our weekly and bimonthly bulletins and to further improve their quality we need a small number of additional member volunteers.

An Advertising Manager is needed to increase the revenue from our bi-monthly bulletin. The effort likely requires less than a couple of hours a month. Most of the solicitation for ads can be done over the phone and in emails. Ensuring that actual ads meet customer requirements and our standards is straightforward.

We would also benefit from a couple of Staff Writers who Contact Us can “cover” shul events and keep the membership informed about all aspects of the multi-faceted Bnai Yeshurun Rabbi Steven Pruzansky, Rabbi Experience. Writers need to take the initiative to identify [email protected] Rabbi Ari Zahtz, Assistant Rabbi new “stories,” to investigate those stories and to document [email protected] them in an informative and interesting fashion.
