It first aired in 2003. In this exhibition, a group of contestants travel to different destinations and take part in various tasks that challenge their physical, social and mental strength. It has gained popularity among Indian youth from Season 3, inspiring thousands of young people to participate in the popular exhibition. MTV Roadies is broadcast on MTV India and can also be broadcast on Voot. Each episode contains the testing process and what happened on the road trip. In the voot streaming platform shows some additional content such as which was not seen on TV, uncensored work, highlights of the episode and behind the scenes. From season 17 onwards foot added captions (subtitles) from each episode. For season 18 Voot added before on TV in Voot Select[1] so that you can see the episode before on the same TV screen. Amit, The creators of Roadies, left the show in 2014. [2] They told the media that they had done enough to circulate the exhibition and wanted to give the new generation opportunities to move forward with the show. [6] In chapter 22, during the tests, four gang leaders were forced to hit a bell that expressed their interest in the contestant. The contestants in turn had the option to choose the gang they wish to be part of. [7] In chapter 13, bicycles, which received a normal appearance of the show, were stopped and industries were chosen for a car. This continued in the 14th season as well. [6] Across all seasons, voice out, votes, immunity, removal, captain, twists presented by Al as and especially appearances by a guest such as actors, athletes and musicians have been regular features of the show.     Right to be Forgotten July 26, 2021 In news Ashutosh Kaushik, a television personality who rose to popularity in 2007 after winning MTV Roadies and then Bigg Boss the following year, has approached the Delhi high court for his ‘right to be forgotten.’ What is his demand? He requested the court that his videos, photographs and articles etc. be removed from the internet citing his “Right to be Forgotten”. Because they have caused him psychological pain for diminutive acts. In his plea, Kaushik also maintains that the “Right to be Forgotten” goes in sync with the “Right to Privacy”, which is an integral part of Article 21 of the Constitution, which concerns the right to life. Kaushik’s plea refers to an incident from 2009 when he was held by the Mumbai traffic police for drunken driving. Meaning of ‘Right to be Forgotten’ The right to be forgotten is the right to have private information about a person be removed from Internet searches and other directories under some circumstances. In India, it falls under the purview of an individual’s right to privacy, which is governed by the Personal Data Protection Bill that is yet to be passed by Parliament. The Right to Privacy was declared a fundamental right under article 19 by the Supreme Court in its landmark verdict in Puttaswamy case in 2017. Personal Data Protection Bill on Right to be Forgotten The Bill aims to set out provisions meant for the protection of the personal data of individuals. Clause 20 under Chapter V of this draft bill titled “Rights of Data Principal” mentions the “Right to be Forgotten.” It states that the data principal (the person to whom the data is related) shall have the right to restrict or prevent the continuing disclosure of his personal data by a data fiduciary.
