Dance transformed her life. From dance, she learned to connect with Mother Earth and to capture the energy that flows between us. Her dance is the performance of her life, and of our lives made into movement. She is interested in performing, investigating, educating, and creating art that will enrich the community by inspiring others to perform and to be empowered. She believes this goal can be achieved through education, supported by the rich legacy of contemporary dance. The energy created by dance can flow out into the community and in turn flow back from the community. A community can be enhanced by the dance experience of others. Her objective is to create an appreciation for self through dance. Claudia is currently exploring improvisation in natural public spaces, in a search to understand the cyclical connection that exists between women and nature and how this relationship affects the environment in which we live.
