A total of 692 entries were received from up and down the UK and Republic of Ireland. Undergraduate and Postgraduate Awards will be made in six categories: Animation, Comedy & Entertainment, Factual, Drama, News and Short Form. The undergraduate entries were initially judged in 13 of the Society’s Regional Centres and the nominations for the national final were selected from the regional winners by the national juries. Postgraduate entries were judged at national level only. There are numerous ways in which you can get involved in the activities of the RTS. It’s is free to join as a student member and the benefits include a greater connection to your regional centre and invitations to local and national events. Student members are welcome to RTS networking events with industry professionals who come from a range of different television backgrounds. Whether you want to get your foot on the ladder or just learn more about all things TV you can sign up on our website. Once you’ve taken your first steps in your career in television, come along to a RTS Futures event. A vibrant community of bright young talent from across the UK, RTS Futures gives you opportunities to rub shoulders with industry leaders who are more than happy to give you advice, listen to your pitches and check out your CV. The RTS also organises early evening events, lectures, conventions and conferences and present the following awards Craft & Design, Programme and Television Journalism. In order to serve its members nationwide, the Society has 15 Regional Centres, many of which liaise closely with local colleges. During her time there she co-created Popstars the Rivals and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. In 2003 she left ITV to start a new independent production company with Simon Cowell, Syco Television, where she co-created and executive produced The X Factor from 2004, and Britain's Got Talent from 2007. They have since gone on to become two of the biggest global talent formats of all time. She returned to ITV to become Director of Entertainment for ITV Stu- dios in 2012 where she executive produced the return of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, oversaw the relaunch of Love Island in 2015 and executive produced the US version of Saturday Night Takeaway on NBC, Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris. In May 2016 she became Head of Entertainment Commissioning for ITV, re- sponsible for ITV’s biggest entertainment formats including The Masked Singer, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Britain's Got Tal- ent, The X Factor, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, and The Voice. In October 2019 Siobhan left ITV to set up her own independent tele- vision production company, 110% Content. 7 Host Matt Richardson Matt Richardson is a multi-award winning stand-up comedian and one of the most exciting names in Comedy, on Television and in Radio. Having started stand-up in 2009 at 18 years old, Matt became one of the youngest comedians on the circuit and soon made it through to the finals of two national stand-up competitions – the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny and the Chortle Student Comedy Award – as well as coming runner up in the Reading Comedy Festival New Act of the Year and winning the Newbury and Bath Comedy Festival new act competitions ‘ – all while still in his teens. He quickly established himself in all of the major comedy club chains in the UK and has gigged overseas on countless occasions. He was the host of Virgin Radio's Drive Time Show for three years before leaving to focus on his true passion of comedy. He is currently the co-host of the new hit comedy podcast When No One's Watching, with Matt Willis of Busted. They have had a fantastic selection of guests including; Keith Lemon, Tom Fletcher, Darren Harriott, Emma Willis, Helen Bauer, and many more to come! His TV credits are too numerous to number but he has hosted shows such as The Hangover Games (E4) and The Red Bull Soapbox Race (Dave) in 2019. Celebrity Haunted Mansion and Celebrity Haunted Hotel (W) alongside Christine Lampard and helming the spin off shows for both alone. Two different ITV2 Documentaries - Pampered Pooches: Hollywood and Meet The Family Guys, both filmed in LA and helmed Just Tattoo Of Us: The Aftermath for MTV as well as Celebability. His first ever presenting gig was hosting The Xtra Factor (ITV2) in 2013 alongside Caroline Flack at the age of 22. As well as all the presenting he has appeared on countless other TV shows, including Roast Battle & Drunk History for Comedy Central, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, The Chase: Celebrity Christmas Special, The Chris Ramsey Show, Top Gear: Extra Gear, Love Island: Aftersun and pretty much any spin off show you can name. In 2013 Matt headed out on his first ever award-winning tour Hometown Hero’in 2013. It was to 54 dates into sping 2014.
