That is, plants including; alpine and rock garden plants; small hardy herbaceous plants; hardy and half- TIMETABLE FOR THE DAY hardy bulbs; hardy ferns and small shrubs. Most areas have their own local group which organizes meetings, lectures and visits for their members throughout the year; some also hold their own shows. — Tea and toast available free to 7.30 9.45am Major National Shows, such as Loughborough Show, draw exhibitors from all exhibitors, judges and helpers over the country, some of whom travel well over two hundred miles to exhibit their best plants. 7.45am Staging of plants commences The Loughborough area is unusually fortunate, having three large cities within a twenty mile radius, each of which has its own local group.
