Introduction.

This edition is a revised version of a document produced for Derg Parish Church, Castlederg, County Tyrone by a group from Dublin (details unknown) over 30 years ago. The original document has been digitised, has had an index added and further information on the inscriptions added by various people. These additions are credited with initials in curly brackets {} . Notes in square brackets [] are not on the gravestones.

This revision was undertaken to make the information more easily accessible, primarily for family historians. Many of the gravestones are wearing and becoming harder to decipher and this provides an invaluable record for future generations. When using these records be aware that they are interpretations of what could be deciphered and as such may not be entirely accurate transcriptions of the original inscriptions. The spelling and layout reflect the originals.
