Rocket League Platform: Crossplay Format: 3v3 A physics based soccer game where players pilot a car with a rocket engine to hit the ball around Splitgate Platform: PC Format: 4v4 Sci-fi shooter that combines the strategic elements of portals with the explosive gameplay of FPS. 2 Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Platform: Crossplay Format: 4v4 First-person shooter in which teams work together to take down enemy teams in a series of game modes. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Platform: Nintendo Switch Format: Singles A fighting game in which the objective is to knock the opponent off the stage and eliminate all of their stocks Call of Duty: Warzone Squads Platform: Crossplay Format: 4v4 First-person battle royale shooter in which squads work together to win in a free-for-all battle. Students can check if their PCs can run various games here. 5 Knowledge Base REGISTRATION FLOW 6 STUDENTS Player Registration 1. To begin the process, you will need to provide your school’s esports administrator with your email address so they can register you as a player on LeagueSpot. Alternatively, they can provide you with a registration link. (administrator registration process) 2. Once your administrator has registered you to your school, you will receive an email from LeagueSpot. 3. Follow the link provided in the email and fill out the registration page. My Organization - Located on the top left hand side of the page (On smaller screens, you will need to select to open the sidebar menu) a. Captains Can: 1. Add members to the team 2. Remove members from the team b. Players can: 1. View teams under school affiliation 2. View members of the organization 9 2. My Teams - List of all of the teams that you are on, located on the left hand side of the screen. Selecting a team brings up the team page. (On smaller screens, you will need to select to open the sidebar menu) a. Captains can: 1. Add players to the team 2. Remove players from the team 3. Edit team name 4. Edit team photo b. Players can: 1. View teams under school affiliation 2. View players 10 3. Profile Page - Located on the top right hand side. Select your username, then select “Profile”. a. Players can: 1. Edit username, game handles and Discord username 2. Change profile picture b. Players can view teams they are on. 11 ADMINISTRATION Registering Your School 1. You will need a link to register your school on LeagueSpot. If you do not have this link, you will need to email CONTACT EMAIL through your school email address to request an invitation to the league. 2. Once you have received the email, simply use the link and fill out the information on the registration page. This is what the registration page looks like: 12 Inviting Students to Your Organization 1. Navigate to “My Organization” (On smaller screens, you will need to select to open the sidebar menu) 2. Select “Invite Players”, next to the members list. 3. Enter player email addresses into the field that pops up. Each email address should be separated by a comma. 13 4. Select “Send Invite”. Alternatively, you can also just give out the “JOIN URL” to students, and they can use that link to register. Any student can use it and it has no limits. Due to this, there is a “REGENERATE JOIN LINK” button that invalidates the old link and provides you with a new one. NOTE: If your players have not received the email, you can send them another one by repeating the invite process. If the student is still having trouble receiving the email, please contact support at CONTACT INFORMATION. 14 Navigating the Website (Administration) 1. My Organization - Located on the top left hand side of the page (On smaller screens, you will need to select to open the sidebar menu) a. Definitions 1. Member - a student or school administrator that belongs to the organization 2. Player - a student who is competing in a title for the organization 3. Manager - someone who can edit organization information and edit team profiles and names, as well as add players b. Features 1. Edit organization name and phone number 2. Change organization profile picture 3. Add players to teams from the member list 4. Remove players from teams 5. Create teams 6. Remove teams 7. Add members to the organization 8. Add managers to the organization 9. Remove members from the organization Picture on the next page shows these features. 15 Administrator’s “My Organization” Features 16 2. Profile Page - Located on the top right hand side of the page under <Your Name>, then “Profile”. a. Managers can: 1. Edit username, game handles and Discord username 2. Change profile picture 17 Enrolling Your Team in the Upcoming Season 1. Navigate to the “My Organization” page (On smaller screens, you will need to select to open the sidebar menu) 2. Select the team options menu. 3. Select “Change Season”. 18 4. Use the dropdown menu to select the correct season. 5. Select “Set Season”. 19 GAME DAY PROCEDURES 1. Check your team into the upcoming match on LeagueSpot. This can happen up to 15 minutes before the start of the game, and can be done by the team captain or one of your organization’s managers. 2. The team captain will need to add the opponent team captain to their friend’s list. All players need to make sure their username is listed on their LeagueSpot profile. a. Overwatch: add the opponent’s Battle.net username (format: Example#1234). b. Rocket League uses a lobby system in which you do not need to add your opponent. Communicate the lobby details with your opponent over Discord. c. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate uses a lobby system in which you do not need to add your opponent. Communicate the lobby details with your opponent over Discord. d. Guilty Gear: Strive: add your opponent by their Steam ID e. COD: Cold War: add your opponent by their Activision ID f. COD: Warzone: uses lobby system in which you do not need to add your opponent. Communication of the lobby details will be over Discord. 3. The team captain of the home team will then create the lobby and invite the opponent. Home team will be the team listed first on LeagueSpot (listed on top on mobile and on the left on desktop). a. Overwatch: PLAY > GAME BROWSER > +CREATE b. Rocket League: Play > Private Match > Create Private Match c. Super Smash Bros Ultimate: Online > Smash > Battle Arenas > Create Arena d. Call of Duty: Cold War: PLAY > PRIVATE > LOBBY 4. The team captain of the away team will need to join the lobby and invite their teammates. Away team will be listed second on LeagueSpot (listed on bottom on mobile and on the right on desktop).
