MLA Documentation Resource Documentation In MLA Style Format Center the title Works Cited one inch from the top of the page. Double space between the title and the first entry in the list. Begin each entry flush with the left margin (l inch), and, if it runs more than one line, indent the subsequent line or lines five spaces from the left margin. Single space the entire list, both between and within entries. Continue the list on as many pages as necessary. Arrangement In general, alphabetize entries in the list of works cited by the author's last name, using the letter-by-letter system. If the author's name is unknown, alphabetize by the first word in the title other than a, “an” or “the.” DO NOT NUMBER these entries. (Latin for "and others") in place of the subsequent authors' names, or you may list all the authors in the order in which their names appear on the title page. (Note that there is a period after “al” in “et al.” Also note that there is never a period after the “et” in “et al.”). A book by an anonymous author: Title of the Book. If the work is cited on the web only, then provide the name of the artist, the title of the work, the medium of the work, and then follow the citation format for a website. Digital Files (PDFs, MP3s, JPEG) “Determine the type of work to cite (e.g., article, image, sound recording) and cite appropriately. Only include if instructed by your teacher! If publishing information is unavailable for entries that require publication information such as publisher (or sponsor) names and publishing dates, MLA requires the use of special abbreviations to indicate that this information is not available. Use n.p. to indicate that neither a publisher nor a sponsor name has been provided. Use n.d. when the Web page does not provide a publication date.

This show was notable for acquainting the New York School with the medium as its artists would go on to embrace collage, creating objects that ranged from small compositions of handmade paper to mural-sized works of torn and reassembled canvas. Despite the significance of this development, art historians consistently overlook collage during the era of Abstract Expressionism. This project examines four artists who based significant portions of their oeuvre on papier collé during this period (i.e. the late 1940s and early 1950s): Lee Krasner, Robert Motherwell, Anne Ryan, and Esteban Vicente. Working primarily with fine art materials in an abstract manner, these artists challenged many of the characteristics that supposedly typified collage: its appropriative tactics, disjointed aesthetics, and abandonment of ―high‖ culture.

THE PHILOSOPHER AND THE WORDS. JULIÁN MARÍAS IN THE REAL ACADEMIA ESPAÑOLA Abstract: This article explains the contribution of Spanish Philosopher Ju- lián Marías (1914-2005), Ortega and Gasset’s disciple, to the Real Academia Españo- la, which has a long history since Foundation, 300 years ago. Marías was an outstan- ding intellectual in Spain and America and because of that, he was able to improve philosophical Spanish. Especially interesting is when we analyze his ownership to the Royal Academy, his Lecture for the admission act and his Answers for Antonio Co- lino, Miguel Delibes, Salvador de Madariaga, Manuel de Terán and José Luis Pinillos’ admissions and the homages that he paid to Ramón Menéndez Pidal and Gregorio Marañón.

Yo he manejado la segun da edición (Basilea, 1555).
