Farming Notes June 2013 The Farmers Guardian is a nationally circulated farming newspaper, read especially by livestock farmers. Recently I had a telephone call from them asking if they could publish a piece about our farm in their Farm Focus section. I said that I didn’t think that our farm was anything special but they thought that their readers would be interested as we had a mixture of income streams: milk production and retailing, sale of pedigree dairy cattle, a pedigree Charolais herd, a bull beef unit go ahead with the article and a reporter and photographer came to take details and lots of photographs of the stock, the milkand the bottles Higher and Lever of Dan, Stewardship Tom and myself.
