Website: Maxpreps (Theodore High School Softball) Theodore Softball History From humble beginnings in 1998 at TAA to Lagoon Park, Coach Tyler Murray was the first and only fast pitch coach from 1998-2014, amassing a 413-295 record including 3 area championships and 2 state appearances; ultimately establishing Theodore as a powerful softball program. In 2005, Murray and the Theodore softball community built the on campus field that is still used today. In 2015, the field was named in her honor. Murray then passed the proverbial coaching torch to Michael Walters. After 10 years coaching baseball at various schools, Walters took over the program and found instant success by reaching the state tournament and earning Theodore’s first win in the state tournament over Hewitt Trussville. Walters is attempting to build on the legacy built by Coach Murray and ultimately win a state championship. 2015 Schedule and Results Overall 25-15 (4-4) Feb. 19 Saraland Spartans 10-5(L) @ Theodore High School Feb. 26 MGM Vikings 2-1 (L) @ MGM High School Feb. 27 Murphy Panthers 15-4 (W) @ Mims Park March 3 Faith Academy Rams 5-4 (W) @ Faith Academy March 5 Citronelle Wildcats 11-0 (W) @Theodore High School March 6 Pratville Lions 5-4 (W) @Troy Sportsplex (Trojan Classic) March 7 Headland Rams 5-4 (W) @Troy Sportsplex (Trojan Classic) March 7 Straughn Tigers 2-0 (W) @ Troy Sportsplex (Trojan Classic) March 7 ACA Patriots 2-1 (W) @Troy Sportsplex (Trojan Classic) March 7 LAMP Golden Tigers 4-2 (L) @ Troy Sportsplex (Trojan Classic) March 12 Baker Honeybees 12-1 (L) @ Baker High School March 14 Gulf Shores Dolphins 5-1 (L) @Daphne High School (Jubilee Classic) March 14 Northview Cougars 1-0 (L) @Daphne High School (Jubilee Classic) March 14 Fairhope Pirates 5-4 (W) @ Daphne High School (Jubilee Classic) March 16 Thomasville Tigers 17-3 (W) @Thomasville High School March 17 Davidson Warriors 13-1 (W) @ Davidson High School March 20 Clarke County Bulldogs 2-1 (W) @ West Mobile Park (Honeybee Invitational) March 20 Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa Patriots 4-3 (L) @ West Mobile Park (Honeybee Invitational) March 21 Citronelle Wildcats 4-2 (W) @West Mobile Park (Honeybee Invitational) March 21 Mobile Christian Leopards 4-2 (W) @ West Mobile Park (Honeybee Invitational) March 21 Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa Patriots 5-0 (L) @ West Mobile Park (Honeybee Invitational) March 24 Bryant Hurricanes 11-4 (L) @ Bryant High School March 31 Baker Honeybees 3-2 (L) @ Theodore High School April 2 MGM Vikings 9-1 (W) @ Theodore High School April 16 Bryant Hurricanes 3-2 (W) @ Theodore High School April 20 Davidson Warriors 5-4 (W) @ Theodore High School April 21 Clarke County Bulldogs 1-0 (W) @ Theodore High School April 22 Citronelle Wildcats 10-3 (W) @ Citronelle High School April 23 Faith Academy Rams 3-0 (W) @ Theodore High School April 30 Bryant Hurricanes 3-0 (L) @ Baker High School (Area) May 1 Davidson Warriors 12-2 (W) @ Baker High School (Area) May 1 MGM Vikings 7-4 (W) @ Baker High School (Area) May 1 Bryant Hurricanes 11-4 (W) @ Baker High School (Area) May 1 Baker Honeybees 12-5 (L) @ Baker High School (Area) May 8 Fairhope Pirates 6-4 (L) @ Gulf Shores Sports Complex (Regional) May 8 Murphy Panthers 17-2 (W) @ Gulf Shores Sports Complex (Regional) May 9 Fairhope Pirates 7-5 (W) @ Gulf Shores Sports Complex (Regional) May 13 Sparkman Senators 12-3 (L) @ Lagoon Park (State) May 13 Hewitt-Trussville Huskies 2-0 (W) @ Lagoon Park (State) May 13 Thompson Warriors 7-0 (L) @ Lagoon Park (State) Hitting Leaders Running Leaders Pitching Leaders Average-B.
