UTS ELA Modules PeopleSoft site licensing program. Page 2 shows the modules available to participants. Participating UT campuses may use any of the modules in a pillar (HCM, Fin, Student) if already participating in that pillar. Some products may have changed names, for example the Real Estate module is now more commonly call Leasing Management.

PCL site licensing program. All of the UT System is in the PCL program for specified Oracle database and related technology, through the IT Assessment. Any modules listed for PCL may be used by a UT entity and it is not necessary to report such usage. There is no true up in these programs unless the UT System significantly re-organizes. Products include: Oracle Database Enterprise (including Standard, etc.), Multi-tenant, Advanced Security Option (ASO), Partitioning, RAC, GoldenGate/ADG, Diagnostic Pack, and Tuning Pack.

Pricehold is in place thru May 28, 2025 for UT entities wanting to add any of the following products (however, always expect a better price!): GoldenGate for non-Oracle Db, Db Lifecycle Management, Db in-memory, Cloud Management pack for Db, Internet Application Server EE, Management Pack for Goldengate, and Data Masking and Subsetting Pack. iASEE (Internet Application System Enterprise Edition) is licensed but no longer under new version updates nor support. Most of it dropped May 29, 2018 and the rest Aug 31, 2019. You may continue to use versions that were under support.

Note on WebLogic Standard. This is bundled in for PeopleSoft participants but must be used only within the Oracle environment

Java SE now requires you to subscription license it to get support/new versions unless it is truly personal use by individuals such as students on their own computers or it is for use solely within Oracle environment (bundled into PS via Weblogic standard bundle). It is anticipated that student use in labs MAY be covered eventually by Oracle initiive. Oracle considers higher education usage to be “commercial” usage when you read Oracle materials. Note: If you need Java SE for a supported by IBM software product, IBM covers it in your IBM support.

PeopleSoft EPM for PS participants is still licensed but no longer under support as of 1 Sept 2019. Participants may continue to use but only those versions that were under support. This also applies to bundled with EPM products such as DataStage
