Method
“GfK Population Structure Data” is based on sociodemographic data on varying, small- scale, regional levels.
The data includes household structure (single and multi-person households with and without children, as well as foreign households), age structure (age of main earner) and income structure (differentiating between seven different income brackets) as well as the architectural profile of the residence (e.g. detached, semi-detached, apartment block).
For a fee, these can be obtained from GfK Geomarketing department on basis of every city, state, municipality and postcode area in Germany as well as individual streets and 2.6 million street segments.
Further information regarding the population structure data can be found here. ______
Further information regarding regional GfK’s market data can be found at http://www.gfk-geomarketing.de/en/market_data.html
