Elections will be held on May 4th and we will announce the officers next month. There will be no meeting on the first Tuesday in June, but we will have a joint installation of officers with the Legion on June 8th. Third Wednesday dinner Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes. Fourth Wednesday meal will be chicken, bacon, ranch casserole with salad. Flower On Every Grave Victory For Veterans and Memorial Day Flower Foundation are partnering to place 30,000 flowers on Veteran’s headstones in Denver’s Fort Logan Cemetery. Volunteers and flowers are needed, as well as donations which can be placed in the Riders box at the Post. Flowers will be placed beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Memorial Day, May 31. Staging is at Mullen High School parking lots. $15 places 10 roses. $5 of that goes to help prevent Veteran suicides. $75 places 50 roses with $25 going to suicide prevention. $150 places 100 roses and $50 goes to suicide prevention.
