It is always a very jolly occasion, and all ages come together for the walk. We'll start at 11am with a very brief hymn and a prayer, and by 11.05 we'll be off. Please feel free to come just for part of the walk if you prefer (see also p8). St Mary’s Sunday 9 June is the festival of Pentecost, the most important festival of the Christian year after Easter and Christmas. We celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the Toddler birth of the church. After our 8 and 9.30am services, the 11:15am traditional service of Choral Mattins allows us to reflect more deeply on the meaning of the day in music and Groups Scripture readings.
