Cost of Tender Paper (Non refundable) & EMD shall be deposited at Cash Section, Katras Area from 15/02/2016 (Monday) to 18/02/2016 (Thursday) during office working hours. Tender documents will be available from the Office of the Area Manager (E&M), Katras Area, on production of Money receipt from 15/02/2016(Monday) to 18/02/2016 (Thursday). Tender will be received upto 3.00 PM on 19/02/2016(Friday) in the Office of the Area Manager (E&M) , Katras Area. Tender will be opened on 19/02/2016(Friday) at 4.00 PM at Office of the Area Manager (E&M) Katras Area. No tender will be issued or submitted by postal means. Tender should be submitted in one sealed envelope super scribing NIT No. with date of opening. Terms & conditions of this NIT and BOQ is enclosed in “Annexure”. Office Copy. /RA/ Cont.Page.2/- Page:-2: ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. Average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years. ending 31st. March of the previous financial year should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. 2. The intending tenderers must have experience of having successfully completed similar works means E&M Related repairing jobs during last 7 years ending last day of month previous to the one in which applications are invited (i.e. eligibility period) should be either of the following :- a) Three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost. OR b) Two similar completed works each costing not less than the Amount equal to 50 % of the estimated cost. OR c) One similar completed work costing not less than the Amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost. 3. Management of BCCL reserves right to reject any or all of the tender without assigning any reason what so ever and to split up and distribute the work among the tenderers. 4. (a)Earnest money should be deposited in form of cash or Bank Draft in favour of “Bharat Coking Coal Limited” payable at “Dhanbad”. Proper money receipt should be enclosed with the tender documents-1, without this tender will be rejected. (b) Performance security should be 5% contract amount submitted within 15(Fifteen) days of receipt of LOA/Work order and will be refunded after completion of guarantee period. (c) 5% Retention Money/Security should be deducted from your bill and will be refunded after completion of guarantee period. (d)The firm registered under NSIC will be exempted from (i) payment of Tender paper Cost (ii) Payment of EMD & Security deposit, provided necessary documents issued by NSIC be submitted, covering Similar nature of works as per NIT. 5. The validity of Tender will be 120 days from the date of opening of price bid or revised price bid if any. 6. The work will not be subject to any arbitration. 7. Conditional tender will not be considered. 8. Repairer has to abide by the central labour regulation Act.1970 and allied labour laws amended upto date. 9. Bidders have to engage minimum 20% of required unskilled workers from local project affected people of nearby villages. The list of PAPs recommended by the concerned Mukhia is to be made available by the concerned Area GM and displayed in the Notice Board. Any further addition/deletion is to b e duly certified by the Mukhia. Authorised representative of the contractual agency is to certify regarding engagement of 20% unskilled workers from amongst the PAPs based upon which, labour payment certificate will only be issued. 10. PAN No.,VAT No., & SSI are to be submitted along with the tender. 11.The complete Bid documents will be available on the website of the company, www. BCCL.gov.in for the purpose of downloading and tender submitted on such downloaded bid documents shall be considered valid for participating in the tender process. The company shall not be responsible for any delay/difficulties/in-accessibility of the downloading facility for any reasons whatsoever. The downloading facility shall be available during the period of sale of tender paper. Cont. page 3/- Page:-3: 12. The bidders, who will download the tender documents from the website of the Company will be required to pay the cost of tender paper(Application fee) by Bank Draft (Prepared not before or after the sale period of tender document as mentioned in NIT) as per NIT at the time of submission of tenders. 13. The bidders will be required to submit an undertaking that they will accept the tender documents as available in the website and their tender shall be rejected, if any tampering in the tender documents is found to be done at the time of opening of tender. 14. The Bank Draft towards the cost of tender documents (Application fee) and the under taking of the tenderer as at Sl.No.(15) shall be submitted in a separate envelope marked ‘Cost of Tender Documents’ and the undertaking and not with part-I/EMD. 15. In case of any discrepancy between the tender documents downloaded from the Website and the master copy available in the office, the latter shall prevail and will be binding on the tenderers. No claim on this account will be entertained. 16 . Paying Authority: AFM, Katras Area – after satisfactory completion of Job. 17. Guarantee: Six months from the date of completion of the job for material defects and workmanship.
