PROGRAMME: 10 JULY – 13 AUGUST The Fulbright-Scotland Summer Institute is a unique educational partnership between the University of , University of Strathclyde and the US-UK Fulbright Commission with support from The Scottish Government and a host of civic Scotland partners. Ten students from universities across the United States are selected entirely on merit by competitive application and spend five weeks in Scotland during July and August for an intensive programme of lectures, seminars, cultural and study visits on the theme Scotland: Identity, Culture and Innovation. The Institute was launched in 2013. The Fulbright Program is the flagship educational and cultural exchange programme of the US Department of State designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and those in more than 160 countries.
