Embassy Industries’ HydropexTM cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing, without oxygen barrier, is rated for continuous use at 100 psi at 180°F. HydropexTM is manufactured to ASTM F876/F877 standards and is NSF 61 and NSF 14 certified. Typical applications include hot and cold potable water distribution systems and snowmelt heating. When using HydropexTM in radiant heating applications, corrosion inhibitors and/or heat exchangers and non-ferrous components must be used.

Embassy's fittings and adapters are machined from solid brass stock. They are used for connecting Liquipex or Hydropex tubing to any conventional pipe, including copper, or any pipe and/or fitting with standard female pipe threads. The Radiant Advantage is a full-featured Windows® based application for heat loss calculations and for the design of Embassy Radiant Floor Heating Systems. Using The Radiant Advantage, authorized dealers and distributors can quickly prepare designs and quotations.

This software offers unprecedented features such as ease of use, quick access to on-line help, and a parts list that reflects the most current Embassy products and prices. Each design is saved as a Radiant Advantage project and can be easily retrieved and revised. A parts list estimator determines quantities of most of the Embassy products required by the user-defined project specifications. Moreover, reporting capabilities deliver hard copy presentations of critical project information. In short, The Radiant Advantage provides all that is necessary for a complete and comprehensive design assessment. In addition to The Radiant Advantage radiant design option, a baseboard tool has been included for quick baseboard estimators, making this software a complete hydronic heating package.

Effective July 1, 1994

For Embassy Systems’ Liquipex and Hydropex tubing and other components sold by Embassy Industries, Inc. for use in Embassy’s radiant heating systems.

Embassy Industries, Inc. ( Embassy ) warrants that the Liquipex and Hydropex tubing and other components sold for use in their radiant heating systems shall be free from defects in material and workmanship and shall conform to Embassy s written specifications. It is expressly understood that failure of any component as a result of the freezing of water within any pipes shall not constitute a defect in material or workmanship, and shall not be covered by this warranty. This limited warranty shall be valid for a period of twenty-five (25) years after the date of sale by Embassy for Liquipex and Hydropex tubing, a period of eighteen (18) months after such date of sale for all other components sold by Embassy for use in Embassy s radiant heating systems, subject to the following provisions.

Notice of any claim under this limited warranty must be received by Embassy within thirty (30) days after that claim arises. After receipt of such notice, Embassy shall inspect all items which are the subject of the claim in order to ascer- tain responsibility and to recommend a remedial course of action.

Embassy s sole obligation hereunder shall be, at its sole option, to issue credit for, or repair or replace, any item or part thereof, which is proved to be other than as warranted. In connection with any claim, an allowance for transportation, labor, part replacements or repairs or any other work, shall be made only if such charges are authorized in writing in advance by Embassy. Performance of any repairs by any party without Embassy s prior written approval shall render this warranty invalid.

This limited warranty applies and shall remain valid only if items subject to this limited warranty (a) are selected, designed and installed in accordance with the specification, design guidelines and installation manuals furnished by Embassy, (b) are installed in a workmanlike manner, and in accordance with applicable code requirements, (c) remain in their originally installed location, (d) are connected to, and operated with, the proper water and electrical supplies, (e) are not misused or abused, and (f) show no evidence of mishandling, tampering, neglect, accidental damage, failure due to structural damage, modification or repair without the written approval of Embassy, or damage caused by anyone other than Embassy personnel. It is expressly understood that authorized Embassy sales representatives have no express or implied authority to bind Embassy to any agreement or warranty of any kind without the express written consent of Embassy.

THE ABOVE LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE FULL EXTENT OF ALL WARRANTIES PROVIDED BY EMBASSY INDUSTRIES, INC. WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPONENTS OF ITS RADIANT HEATING SYSTEMS. EMBASSY INDUSTRIES, INC. DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIM- ITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ANY STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF HABITABILITY. EMBASSY INDUSTRIES, INC. Returns will not be accepted without a valid Materials Return Authorization (MRA) number issued by Embassy Industries, Inc. Issuance of a MRA does not constitute an obligation on Embassy s part to issue either a full or partial credit. The amount of the credit, if any, will be determined by Embassy after inspection of the returned materials, and may be subject to a 15% handling charge. Claims for shortages must be presented within 10 days after receipt of shipment. Claims for loss or damage must be filed directly with the carrier.
