Rose Presentation We are now in our 23rd year of presenting roses to parents at the time of baptism. The rose is a symbol of new life into the church. It emphasizes the child’s Right to Life. So far a total of 1659 roses have been presented to the parents. During the last three years ( 2004—2006 ) we presented 124 roses. The cost for these roses was $150.25, which is shared by the Knights and the Daughters of Isabella. We were fortunate to have 64 roses donated by Sue Ann Sturm from September 2004 through January 2006. Also, thanks to the following presenters from January 2004 through December 2006:

Check the web “It’s No Balouny” Insurance Update http://www.koc1043.org By Bob Baloun, K of C Field Agent We can all remember the story of Scrooge and his failure to believe in the spirit of Christmas. To all but the Scrooges of the world, the celebration of the birth of Christ brings with it a warm feeling of family ties, a joy and pleasure that our faith brings to others. The same feeling comes from owning life insurance. Just knowing that, because of what you have planned, your loved ones will have joys and comforts for years to come if something should happen to you. At Christmas, give a gift of security and protection. Happy and Holy Holidays to all of you. Call me today for an appointment.
