The air is getting cooler, the leaves are be- ginning to change colors and every busi- ness is coming out with pumpkin spice flavored products. It’s that time of the year again. Football is right around the corner. For the Falcons, the season starts this Sat- urday, Sept. 2, when they take on the Mich- igan State Spartans in East Lansing, Mich- igan. The University is looking for fan sup- port this weekend for the opening game against a Big Ten school. One issue standing in the way of support is the two-hour drive to Spartan Stadium. But the University has come up with a solution for students. The University is offering a trip to the big game on the Falcon Fan Bus. The University is providing a bus to transport students to the game and back to Bowling Green after. This will save money for stu- dents who were planning to arrange their own transportation to the game. “Being President of Falcon Fanatics for the first time this year has me extra excit- ed for the first football game this season,” Alexis Nader, president of Falcon Fanatics said. “We have been promoting this game since the beginning of the summer and even more now, especially since class is back in session.” This is a new opportunity for all stu- dents of the University to show school spir- it, meet new people, and support the foot- ball team. Spots on the bus are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets to the game are sold online and over the phone at 877.BGSU.TICKETS. Tickets are $25 for all students, and this in- cludes the option to ride on the spirit bus. There are only 200 available spots on the bus, and they are going fast, so students are urged to get tickets soon. Nader is thankful that the University Activities Organization is providing the fan bus, and she is excited for students to get VISIT YOUR HOMETOWN PIZZA HUT the opportunity to cheer on the Falcons at a Big Ten school. in Bowling Green,Bowling Defiance, Green, OH Ottawa, Tiffin, Fremont, Bellevue,419-354-4444 Norwalk & Sandusky Read the full story at bgfalconmedia.com OR ORDER ONLINE AT PIZZAHUT.COM BG NEWS August 31, 2017 | PAGE 8 State budget cuts lead to refuse and recycling fee
