The Placement Committee of IIM Shillong takes immense pride in announcing the successful completion of the final placement season for the PGP batch of 2019-21. The stellar performance by the PGP participants stands testimony to the rapid progress made by IIM Shillong and has once again established IIM Shillong as the preferred choice for recruiters. We express our gratitude to our regular recruiters who have continuously believed in the mettle of our students and have furthered their association with us for another year to facilitate this mutually beneficial relationship. Final Placements for the academic year 2020-21 have once again IIM Shillong gracefully hosted many first-time recruiters including affirmed the faith and confidence of the industry in the students Accolite Digital, Adobe, Amagi Media Labs, Atomberg, Boston of IIM Shillong. The placement season saw participation from Consulting Group, CarWale, CollegeDunia, Feedback Infra, a total of 64 recruiters in various domains such as Consulting Genpact, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Infosys Consulting, iQuanti, & Strategy, Finance, General Management, Human Resources & Mswipe, MTX Group, MuSigma, Octro, Paytm, RapidOps, SBI Operations, IT & Analytics, and Sales & Marketing. Capital Markets, SysCloud, Tata AIA Life Insurance Co., Thoucentric, Trafigura, Unicommerce, William O’Neil India, Zinnov, ZS Associates IIM Shillong conducted the placement season through the and many more. participation from several prominent recruiters including Amazon, Capgemini, CASHe, EY, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential The institute also witnessed participation from International Life Insurance, Indegene, InMobi, JPMorgan Chase & Co, recruiters, including Landmark Group, offering roles in the Sales and Mahindra & Mahindra, Nomura Investment Bank, Tech Mahindra, Marketing domain. The PGP 2019-21 batch also bagged PPI/PPO opportunities from Aditya Birla Group, Bain & Company, Boston Titan, Tres Vista, Optum (UnitedHealth Group), Xiaomi, and Yes Consulting Group, D.E. Various roles offered included Advisory, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, and Strategy & Operations. Bain & Company, Cognizant, EY and Optum Prominent Recruiters (United Health Group) continued their association with the institute, offering coveted profiles to students while first- time recruiters include Amagi Media Labs, Boston Consulting Group, Indegene, Infosys Consulting, InMobi, MuSigma, Nimbus Systems, Thoucentric and Zinnov.

Prominent Recruiters Sales & Marketing Sales & Marketing accounted for 25% of the total offers received. Recruiters such as Capgemini, CASHe, Cognizant, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, ITC, Landmark Group (Splash), Mahindra & Mahindra, Pidilite Industries and Titan continued to bestow their faith in the acumen of the participants and recruited in large numbers. Atomberg, CollegeDunia, Google, iQuanti, RapidOps, Reddot Life Private Limited and SysCloud were amongst the first-time recruiters.
28 LPA Highest CTC Domain Finance IIM Shillong has always been a preferred campus for recruiters offering roles in the Finance domain. 19% of the participants Highlights received offers in roles such as Corporate & Institutional Banking, Financial Operations, Investment Banking amongst others. Genpact, Mswipe, SBI Capital Markets and William Prominent Recruiters O’Neil India partnered with the institution for the first time. Prominent recruiters such as D.E. Shaw, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Nomura Investment Bank, Tresvista, Vivriti Capital and YES Bank continued to recruit in large numbers.

Prominent Recruiters General Management The General Management domain observed increased participation from recruiters including Aditya Birla Capital, Aditya Birla Group, Cognizant, Exeter Premedia, Feedback Infra, HSBC, ICICI Bank, InMobi, Tata AIA Life Insurance Co., Tech Mahindra, Trafigura, V2 Retail and Xiaomi from various sectors such as BFSI, Consulting, IT & Analytics, Manufacturing & Retail and Technology, Media & Telecommunication. This domain accounted for 11% of placements this year.
