The proposal will follow the traditional public relations plan format, including a problem statement, situational analysis, research, goals and objectives, discussion of target audiences, program strategies, and evaluation plan. The program's outline format has been adopted from numerous textbooks to meet the needs of Planned Parenthood. CLONES, BONES AND TWILIGHT ZONES: PROTECTING THE DIGITAL PERSONA OF THE QUICK, THE DEAD AND THE IMAGINARY By JosephJ. Beard' ABSTRACT This article explores a developing technology-the creation of digi- tal replicas of individuals, both living and dead, as well as the creation of totally imaginary humans. The article examines the various laws, includ- ing copyright, sui generis, right of publicity and trademark, that may be employed to prevent the creation, duplication and exploitation of digital replicas of individuals as well as to prevent unauthorized alteration of ex- isting images of a person. With respect to totally imaginary digital hu- mans, the article addresses the issue of whether such virtual humans should be treated like real humans or simply as highly sophisticated forms of animated cartoon characters. Collecting Lombardi’s Dominating Packers BY DAVID LEE ince Lombardi called Lambeau Field his “pride and joy.” Specifically, the ground itself—the grass and the dirt. V He loved that field because it was his. He controlled everything that happened there. It was the home where Lombardi built one of the greatest sports dynasties of all-time. Fittingly, Lambeau Field was the setting for the 1967 NFL Champion- ship, famously dubbed “The Ice Bowl” before the game even started. Tem- peratures plummeting to 12 degrees below zero blasted Lombardi’s field. Despite his best efforts using an elaborate underground heating system to keep it from freezing, the field provided the perfect rock-hard setting to cap Green Bay’s decade of dominance—a franchise that bullied the NFL for nine seasons. The messy game came down to a goal line play of inches with 16 seconds left, the Packers trailing the Cowboys 17-14. Running backs were slipping on the ice, and time was running out. So, quarterback Bart Starr called his last timeout, and ran to the sideline to tell Lombardi he wanted to run it in himself. It was a risky all-in gamble on third down. “Well then run it, and let’s get the hell out of here,” Starr said Lom- bardi told him. The famous lunge into the endzone gave the Packers their third-straight NFL title (their fifth in the decade) and a second-straight trip to the Super Bowl to face the AFL’s best. It was the end of Lombardi’s historic run as Green Bay’s coach. -

Alexandra Twyman CURRICULUM VITAE 1 E-mail: [email protected] University of Nebraska-Lincoln Phone: (402) 472- 1006 Department of Educational Psychology 234 Teachers College Hall Lincoln, NE 68588 RESEARCH INTERESTS: • Development and malleability of cognitive processes underlying spatial reasoning - Identify the basic types of cues and factors influencing malleability in reorientation (i.e. re-establish a sense of direction after disorientation) - Test and refine the adaptive combination model as a theoretical account for cognitive development (as an alternative to core knowledge accounts) - Examine how to use children’s strength’s in navigation to support classroom learning • Factors that support/hinder spatial development as possible supports/barriers into STEM - Examine developmental trajectories of the spatial concept “middle” across real world and computer tasks and scales of space (from navigation size to desktop scale) - Investigate if “middle” training transfers to math proficiency (fractions, division, number line) - Examine the role of cumulative sports experience in shaping spatial proficiency in university - Examine how playground play may influence spatial development - Investigate how fitness and nutrition (low-iron status) interact to support school achievement in ] undergraduate and high school students • Differentiate typical and clinical aging in spatial memory - Understand how spatial memory changes with typical and clinical aging - Investigate potential of spatial tasks as early cognitive screeners for Alzheimer’s -

The regular starters at each position are listed first and should be used most frequently. Realistic use of the players below will generate statistical results remarkably similar to those from real life. IMPORTANT: When a Red "K" appears in the R-column as the result on any kind of running play from scrimmage or on any return, roll the dice again, refer to the K-column, and use the number there for the result. When a player has a "K" in his R-column, he can never be used for kicking or punting. If the symbol "F-K" or "F-P" appears on a players card, it means that you use the K or P column when he recovers a fumble. Players in bold are starters. If there is a difference between the player's card and the roster sheet, always use the card information. The number in ()s after the player name is the number of cards that the player has in this set. See below for a more detailed explanation of new symbols on the cards.
