Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with whom we are not yet fully united are ordinarily not admitted to Holy Communion. All who are not receiving Holy Communion are encouraged to express in their hearts a prayerful desire for unity with the Lord Jesus and with one another. CONFERENCE OF CATHOLIC BISHOPS Communicants at Ordinariate Masses receive the sacrament kneeling at the altar rail unless prevented by health. We encourage communicants to consider the example of Papal Masses, where the faithful receive the Sacred Host directly on the tongue.

We ask that you wear a mask while you are in the building following the guidelines from the city. Those exempted from wearing masks must maintain social distance of six feet from those outside their household at all times. The Sunday Mass obligation remains suspended, and all those who are at serious risk of infection are encouraged to remain at home. Please be sure to make use of the hand sanitizer available at each entrance. Social distancing is expected, particularly in the pews and at the communion rail. Holy Communion is distributed at the rail immediately after Mass in the form of the Sacred Host only. Please contact Paul Godberson to arrange for pickup. The total cost of repairs was just over $4,000, and this off-budget expenditure will be funded by a special fundraising event, to be announced shortly. In addition, Father Catania has raised over $1,200 for the parish from his birthday Facebook fundraiser, which will be directed toward this expense.
