On April 19, 50 current and former Planned Parenthood Board members from Roanoke met for cocktails and memories at the home of Bev and Tyler Health • Knowledge • Opportunity Pugh. Th e Roanoke Chapter of Planned Parenthood was initially founded in 1967 by Nancy Eddy and Liz Access Stone (pictured at right with CEO Walt Klausmeier). By 1970, the organization formed a Board of Directors and incorporated as a Planned Parenthood affi liate. Th e Summer 2010 40th anniversary served as the fi rst Board reunion since the Roanoke affi liate merged with PPHS in Raleigh.
