FAQ (ver. 4)

1. Will participants receive any certificates? (Last updated on June 25) Answer) No certificate of participation with your name is issued. However, those who participate will have a chance to receive a commemorative gift.

2. Will participants receive any credits? (Last updated on June 25) Answer) There are no credits.

3. Can you please send the zoom link? (Last updated on July 16) Answer) All the sessions will be basically broadcasted livestreaming on time (real time live streaming). It means that you should click the YouTube URL before starting and watch the YouTube livestreaming on time. There are 5 zoom sessions in total. You can find the zoom ID and PW in the schedule. ・Day 1, Chemistry 1 ・Day 4, Chemistry 2 (NMR) ・Day 5, Physics C2 ・Day 6, Chemistry 3 (X ray) ・Day 7, Earth and Space ※Note that the time zone is Japanese Standard Time (JST).

4. Why YouTube links do not open? Why is it private? (Last updated on July 16) Answer) Basically, all the sessions will be broadcasted livestreaming on time (real time live streaming). It means that you should click the YouTube URL before starting and watch the YouTube livestreaming on time. The orientation, closing event, and some sessions are available archived videos, it depends on the sessions. Note that the time zone is Japanese Standard Time (JST).

5. Time zoon? (Last updated on July 16) Answer) The time zoon is (JST).

6. Are there any eligibility requirements for this program? Answer) There are no specific eligibilities for participation in the program. However, this program is designed for overseas university students (undergraduate and master's students) who have sensitivity and intellectual curiosity for mathematics, physics, space geology, chemistry, polymer science, and biological sciences. For more information, please refer to the "Targets" section and the abstracts of the department events in the "Program Contents" section on our website.

7. Can I receive registration confirmation? (Last updated on June 25) Answer) A confirmation email was sent between June 21 and June 23 to those who registered. If you registered by June 13 but did not receive the confirmation email, the main reasons may be a typo in your e-mail address, a problem with your server, or an overflow in your e-mail receiving folder. Please note that we are not able to respond to these problems.

8. When I receive the information about online URL for the participating? (Last updated on June 25) Answer) We will send URLs and online IDs to you at your registered email address by July 5. However, if there are problems with a mistyped email address, your server system, or the over capacity of receiving folder, you will not receive the email. We are not able to respond to these problem. Please be aware of this.

9. As of now, I do not own a passport, how can I fill out my name? Answer) If you do not have a passport, please fill in your name exactly.

10. When is the orientation date? Answer) The orientation will be held on July 13 from 10:30-12:00 am (JST). For more information, please see our website.

11. Could you tell me schedule and contents of the department events? Answer) You can find the contents on our website. Please see the “Abstract”. We will also inform you during the orientation (10:30-12:00 am on July 13 (JST)). Please find the detailed schedule uploaded on our website (Last updated on June 23).

12. I was not able to register during the registration period, can I still register? (Last updated on June 25) Answer) Registration was closed on June 13. We are not accepting registrations after that date.
