JEAN SMART (Audrey Walker) – Ms. Smart started her acting career in the theater and was in the original cast of Broadway’s "Piaf," as well as “The Man Who Came to Dinner” opposite Nathan Lane, for which she received a Tony nomination. In 1986 she was cast in the comedy series "Designing Women," which went on to become a long- running hit. Among her many film credits are the movies “Flashpoint,” “Protocol,” "Snow Day," Disney’s “The Kid,” “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey,” "Sweet Home Alabama," Miramax’s “Guinevere,” for which she received an Independent Spirit Award nomination, and, most recently, "Bringin’ Down the House," a comedy in which she co-stars with Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. Her multi-faceted career also includes several television movies, among them "Change of Heart," “Overkill,” “The Yarn Princess,” “Scarlett,” the miniseries, and "Undue Influence," along with guest-starring roles on the series "Frasier," for which she won two Emmy® Awards and "The District," for which she was nominated for an Emmy® Award.

CAROL KANE (Missy Flanders) – Ms. Kane is an Emmy® Award–winning actress who began her career with such memorable roles as Art Garfunkel's hippie girlfriend in the film "Carnal Knowledge" and the terrified bank teller in "Dog Day Afternoon." From 1981 through 1983, Kane played Simka, the wife of immigrant mechanic Latka Gravas (Andy Kaufman) on the hit TV series "Taxi," a role that earned her two Emmy’s®. In her more recent films, Kane has taken on a number of bizarre character roles, notably the kvetching old peasant wife in "The Princess Bride," the abusive Ghost of Christmas Present in "Scrooged," and the toothless, witchlike Grandmama in the two Addams Family features.

RICHARD GILLILAND (Terry Lloyd) – Mr. Gilliland has had a lengthy career in television that began with recurring roles on such series as "McMillan and Wife" and "Operation Petticoat." He starred as Jonesy in the long-running series "The Waltons," and reprised the role in three subsequent Walton telefilms. He also starred as J.D. Shackelford on the comedy series "Designing Women," where he met his wife, Jean Smart. Recent telefilms have included "The Man Next Door," "Take Me Home Again," "Not in My Family" and "Just My Imagination." He has also had guest-starring roles on the series "Becker," "Judging Amy," "Party of Five" and "The Practice."

KATHLEEN WILHOITE (Marguerite Walker) – Ms. Wilhoite is both an actress and a musician. Her film credits range from "Murphy's Law," "The Morning After" and "Crossing Delancey" to "Lorenzo's Oil," "The Freshman" and "Pay It Forward." She has also appeared in the series "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd," "L.A. Law" and "ER" and she is the title voice in the animated series "Pepper Ann." She has guest-starred on "Will & Grace," "Judging Amy," "Third Watch," "24" and "Touched By an Angel." A singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter, Wilhoite has recorded several albums.

KRISTINA MALOTA (Charlotte Walker) – Kristina recently co-starred with Julia Roberts in the film "Erin Brockovich." Other film credits include "City of Angels," "Judas Kiss" and "She's So Lovely." Her TV roles include "A Secret Life," "A Test of Love" and "Weapons of Mass Distraction."

ANGUS T. JONES (Tye Walker) – Angus has played George Jr. in "George of the Jungle 2" and has had roles in the movies "Bringin’ Down the House," where he plays Jean Smart’s son; "The Rookie" and "See Spot Run." He also appeared in the telefilm "Dinner with Friends."
