Battle of the Books 2013 - 2014

Welcome to the Battle of the Books and taking on the challenge. We will be getting our teams together today and you will be able to decide who will read each book. Each one of you, basically, has to read two books. There are ten books so if you have five members on your team then you each should read two. As a team, you should discuss who should read what book. Remember the more that you read the better you will be prepared, so read at home and school. The competition is the last Thursday of February – February 27, 2014, so you will have plenty of time to read your books.

There will be a shelf behind the desk in the library that will have the books. I have ordered some extra copies. Our next meeting will be in two weeks, week of October 28th and all books will be here for you to check out. You can, also, get them during your media checkout time. During the next week, decide as a team who will read each book. You can also go to the public library and obtain a copy from them with your public library card. If you have a copy at home or in your classroom library, feel free to use that book. If you ever have any questions, please come in and talk to Mrs. Minster.
