Thanks to the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class for helping us with the food and beverages. Also, a special thanks to the TBC deacons who also provided food and snacks. Thanks to Gary Kirtley who cooked for the whole gang. He told me next time I needed to use more grills. I was excited because he did say “next time!” I took that as he was willing to do this again in the future for the TBC gang!

This was our final summer event but we have more to come! We are preparing for the Fall which is Wednesday, October 28, practicing for our music and getting into our “Hurdles” Bible study.

Congratulations to all who were baptized this past Sunday. It was a bittersweet day filled with many blessings - Baptism, the Lord’s Supper, the children singing and Tractor riding with John Lampkin at the wheel! saying goodbye to Dr. Byrd and Joni. I am excited about the future of the Children’s Ministries at TBC. I know without a doubt that TBC was chosen for this ministry to spread the “Good News” and share the love of Jesus Christ. I am certain that the TBC congregation will continue to pray for the children and their families and for the volunteers that work with the children every Sunday and Wednesday.

It wasn’t just the kids having fun! “Train up a child in the way he should go;
