GENERAL INFORMATION!!!

 It is a winter

 It is played all over Europe and has spread to Brazil, Japan, , New Zealand, China, and Korea  It has been an official sport in the Winter

 Its nickname is"chess on ice" HOW IS IT PLAYED???  Players slide stones on a sheet of ice towards a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles.  Two teams, each with four players, take turns sliding granite stones across the ice curling sheet towards the house.  Each team has eight stones.  The purpose is to accumulate the highest score for a game .

EQUIPMENT

 It’s a similar to roller or inline hockey but each player is mounted on a unicycle. THE RULES

 Both feet must be on the pedals  Only mild contact is allowed  Each team is composed of 5 players (plus substitutes)  Women and men are allowed to play in the same game

There are 4 national unicycle hockey leagues:  One in UK  One in  One in  One in Australia

There are also clubs and teams in other countries like:   Korea

But unicycle hockey is not an Olympic game !!!

Zorbing

WHAT IS IT? The “Hamster Ball “is an extreme sport that involves hurtling down a hill in a huge inflatable ball! It was born in New Zealand and now it is practised in the UK, New Zealand, Sweden, Estonia, Australia, North Pole, Canada, Japan, India, Thailand and in other countries.  It is performed at commercial locations, where prospective riders pay a fee for each ride or for a whole day's activity. THE EQUIPMENT

 The only equipment is a 3-metre orb, which consists of two balls, one inside the other and an air-layer between them. Thank you!
