At the meeting on 17 July 2013, Cabinet deferred a final decision on subsidy levels in order to seek the views of parish and town councils on the impact of the preferred Option 3. Subsequent to the Cabinet meeting it was also decided to undertake public consultation through the Dorset For You online consultation portal. Responses received from the consultation exercise, along with revised proposals for Dorchester Town bus services to be changed in advance of the final plan were presented to Cabinet for the meeting on 6 November 2013. This report takes account of representations made through the various consultations and presents recommendations for: Core savings of £970,279 Reinstatement of routes £95,000 Transfer to Community Transport budget £25,000 TOTAL SAVINGS £850,279 Concerns were raised by Members and the public who attended the Cabinet meeting on 6 November 2013 and these have been addressed by this report. Page 2 – Supported Local Bus Services Since the Cabinet meeting on 6 November 2013 a commercial bus route has been de-registered. This will provide an extra pressure to the public transport budget and the details are provided in part 6 of this paper.

Dorset School Aged Immunisation Pathways for the 2020/21 academic year Introduction This information supports local practices in understanding the school aged immunisations programme for the 2020/21 academic year, including any changes to the schedule. COVID-19 Due to the impact of COVID-19 and school closures in the first half of 2020, the school aged immunisation provider will be offering catch-up doses of Meningitis ACWY, Td/IPV and HPV during the 2020/21 academic year to those cohorts that missed their scheduled doses in the 2019/20 academic year – see below for further details. Welcome to the Final Edition Of
Lytchett Minster School | Newsletter July 2018 elcome to the final edition of the WNewsletter this academic year! It has been a memorable year with so many collective successes and personal triumphs to celebrate. I hope you enjoy the news and information contained in this edition. As is now tradition, we are also publishing a separate picture edition of some of the major events of the Summer term. Whilst the heatwave has been challenging, it has meant that the Year 11 Prom, Sandwalk, Sports Day and Prize Giving all benefitted from magnificent weather. There have been many highlights this year: At the start of the Autumn term, we celebrated some fantastic GCSE results (including some of the best Maths results in the county). We were spellbound by the amazing production of Beauty and the Beast. The choir and orchestra performed superbly in the Christmas Concert in the theatre and the Easter concert (including the performance of Faure's Requiem) at the Parish Church. Our rock musicians excelled in the Battle of the Bands event and the Jazz Band wowed the members of the Dorset Chamber of Commerce at their special event at the BIC. Our BTEC Media students enjoyed the showing of their own films at the Lighthouse as part of their Oscars night. The quality of the Art work in recent exhibitions has been superb. The Lytchett Lecture Series has continued to attract great speakers and well-informed and enthusiastic audiences. The Key Stage 3 Literature Festival saw six outstanding writers of teenage fiction pay a visit to the school.

Lytchett Minster School | Newsletter Christmas 2019 elcome to the Christmas edition of Wthe Newsletter! It has been a long, busy term, and staff and students alike have earned this most welcome two week break. I do hope you will have a great Christmas and a peaceful, healthy New Year! I am sure the young people will be going out of their way to give their parents a bit of a break as well over the festive period. If they are not cooking the Christmas dinner, I hope they will at least be keeping their rooms tidy and helping out with the household chores….. I am sure those of you who attended our annual Christmas Concert on Wednesday, 18th December would want to join me in thanking Mr Painter and Mr Clarke for putting on such an entertaining evening of festive music. It was great to see and hear such a variety of items and so many different ensembles. As always, the Art Exhibition which preceded the school concert was very impressive. The talent of our young artists is quite breathtaking . On Monday 2nd December we enjoyed the first screening of the films written, produced and directed by our Year 13 and 14 BTEC Media students at our Film Festival, held in the Poole Lighthouse cinema. Special congratulations goes to Tristan Head who was awarded the top prize of Best Film. Our sports teams continue to compete well against other local schools and achieve some outstanding results, none more so than our Year 11 boys footballers who beat Budmouth College 5-0 to reach the quarter finals of the County Cup.
