_. .. Foreword The Centennial Alumni Directory lists students by The Ge classes and indexes them alphabetically and geographically. Graduates of the college are listed first, followed by non- 3ud en t graduates. A student who received degrees from both the college and the seminary is listed with his college class only. Wi Seminary graduates who received their undergraduate de- gree elsewhere are listed under SEMINARY. Extractc The class list places a graduate under the year in which Alumni the degree was granted and a non-graduate with the class in which he entered. Every effort has been made to present Alphabe names, addresses, and classes accurately, a difficult task in many instances because of the failure or delay on the Geograp part of many alumni and former students in filling out and returning the directory blanks mailed to them. Because of the magnitude of the task undertaken and the unavoidable lag between the preparation of the copy and the actual printing of the directory, it was impossible to catch every error, make address changes, add informa- tion, and/or note that some alumni and former students had died since the copy went to press. When it was not stated, an address was assumedto be a residential one. An asterisk (*) is used to indicate a deceased alumnus. The directory proper begins with the class of 1884, the oldest class with surviving members known to the University.
