1. Introduction

The Grossi Toidukaubad Viru Rally 2014 is the round 3 of Estonian and Latvian Rally Championship, round 2 of Estonian Juniors Rally Champion.

Grossi Toidukaubad Viru Rally 2014 is a 2-day-rally. It consists of 11 special stages, 4 of them will be run twice. The Start and the Finish Podium are at Rakvere City Square. The competition cars have to arrive at the pre-start area minimum 45 minutes before their own start. Service Park is located at Tobia küla, Rakvere vald, AS OG Elektra.

Rally Guide is mainly intended for the teams, competitors and media. It contains information necessary for the preparation before the event. Information that is given in Supplementary Regulations and other documents will not be published in the Rally Guide. Rally Guide has no regulatory power and is only to be considered as providing information.

3. Shakedown The Shakedown takes place on June 12th in Kehala. Distance of Shakedown - 3 km Road surface - gravel at 14.00 -17.00 2WD-cars at 17.00 – 20.00 4WD-cars Pre-registration: [email protected] until 10.06.2014 at 23.00.

4.1 Accreditation procedure • The accreditation has to be made on www.autosport.ee/rallyreg • The accreditation form has to reach the press officer not later than Saturday, June 07, 2014. Applications received after this date may not be accepted. • Only EASU official green and white media tabards are eligible.

5. General information

Traffic in In order to drive a car it is necessary to own a driving licence, provided it is valid for the class of vehicle a person wishes to drive. The maximum speed limit is 90 km/h, in urban areas 50km/h, unless otherwise indicated. The use of front and rear seat belts is compulsory. Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited and strict penalties are in place for anyone caught doing so. It is prohibited for drivers to use a mobile telephone in urban areas while the car is in motion. Headlamps must be switched on while driving.

Medical information • Should you need an ambulance or any emergency help, call 112. The operators will speak English but for speed it will obviously help if an Estonian helps with the call. • Police (phone number 110) are very helpful and trained to give first aid. • Citizens from other EU countries are treated free of charge. However when you go to an outpatients clinic, do take your passport with you to prove your EU identity. You will have to pay for prescribed medicines but charges are not high.

• Charges are made to non-EU citizens but unless you are critically ill and have to stay in hospital, these will usually be so low that you will not need to claim them back on insurance.

6.1. Rally tickets Most of the Special Stages of Grossi Toidukaubad Viru Rally are free for spectators except Kehala ring where the ticket costs 7€. 6.2. Rally program Rally program and maps will be published in Autoleht magazine on June, 11 and newspaper Kuulutaja on June,13.
