The Honourable Mr. Justice Johnson LAM Man Hon Vice-President of the Court of Appeal of the High Court The Hon Mr. Justice Lam was born in Hong Kong in 1961. He obtained an LL.B. and P.C.LL. from the University of Hong Kong in 1983 and 1984 respectively. He was called to the Bar in Hong Kong in 1984 and was in private practice since 1985 until he joined the Judiciary as District in 2001. He was appointed as Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court in 2003 and Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal of the High Court in 2012. He was appointed Vice-President of the Court of Appeal of the High Court on September 2, 2013.

He is currently the Vice-President of the Court of Appeal of the High Court, Chairman of the Judiciary’s Working Party on Mediation as well as Chairman of the Family Proceedings Court Users’ Committee.

Ms. Ann Marie Termini, Ed.S., M.S. L.P.C. Cooperative Parenting Institute, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Ms. Ann Marie Termini is the Co-founder and Director of the Cooperative Parenting Institute (CPI) in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. She offers psychotherapy, parenting coordination (PC), divorce mediation and divorce coaching. Since 1997, the CPI has dominated the field of parenting coordination by creating the first step-by-step parenting coordination training model. The training programs meet the requirements established by the state statutes. Renowned for her expertise in the area of divorce and the family, sheis internationally recognized leader and trainer who provides training to educators, family lawyer and mental health professionals. Ann Marie has co-authored several books to assist families in transition, including Cooperative Parenting & Divorce: A Parent Guide to Effective Co-Parenting, Cooperative Parenting and Divorce: 8-Week Group Program for Separating Parents, Parenting Coordination Reference Manual, The Coparents’ Communication Handbook, and Crossroads of Parenting and Divorce: 5-Steps to Prevent Divorce Abuse. She has been awarded clinical membership in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She is also the Consultant of the A Beam of Hope - Pilot Project on “Child-focused” Parenting Coordination and Co-parenting Services for Divorced Families of Hong Kong Family Welfare Society and has devoted conscious efforts to facilitate the development of Co-parenting and Parenting Coordination Services in Hong Kong.

Dr. LAU Yuk King Professional Consultant, Department of Social Work, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Dr. Lau is a Professional Consultant in the Department of Social Work, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is an experienced practitioner and trainer in clinical social work practice, specialized in family intervention. She hasa special concern on the challenges encountered by families in the changing society and has been active in promoting a resilience perspective on these families. Her teaching areas include family-centered social work, family theories, family intervention and advanced social work practice, family therapy, and family theories. Her research areas include practice research on family therapy, work-family interface, cross-border living families, family policy and family impact analysis, and the development of indigenous model of family-centered practice on working with school refusals and post-divorce families.

Ms. Dora LEE Kam Yung Chief Social Work Officer, (Domestic Violence), Social Welfare Department Ms. Lee is currently the Chief Social Work Officer of the Social Welfare Department, responsible for the subjects of child abuse, domestic violence and child custody. She joined the Social Welfare Department in 1989. In the 30 years of service in the Department, she had extensive service experience in different service settings, including probation service, family service, family life education, psychiatric medical social services and family and child protective services. She also has experience in administrative work in headquarters for the subjects on customer service, medical social services and volunteer service; as well as district administrative work when she was the Assistant District Social Welfare Ms. Ann Marie Termini, Ed.S., M.S. Mr. Dennis Chi Kuen HO Solicitor, Chairman of the Family Law Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong Mr. Ho is a solicitor, a mediator and a part-time lecturer. He practices Family Laws for over 30 years. He is the Chairman of the Family Law Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Family Proceedings Court Users’ Committee of the Judiciary. He has given lectures and talks to lawyers, social workers and students on Family Laws for over 15 years. He was a part-time lecturer for Family Laws to Juris Doctorates in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Juris Doctorates in the Hong Kong City University. He is a member of the Hague Conference on Private International Law Experts' Group on cross-border recognition and enforcement of agreements in family disputes involving children since August 2015. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. He is also one of the first group of trained practitioners for Collaborative Practice in Hong Kong, and a trained Parenting Coordinator. Ms. TSUI Hei Lai Principal, E.L.C.H.K Kwai Shing Lutheran Primary School, Chairman of the Kwai Chung District Primary School Heads Association Ms. Tsui is currently the Principal of the E.L.C.H.K.Kwai Shing Lutheran Primary School. She received the Degree of Master of Education of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2000 and the Degree of Bachelor of Education with Honors of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1997. She has been working as the School Development Officer of "The Accelerated Schools for Quality Education Project" and "The University and School Partnership for Quality Education Project" of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since 2013, she has served as the Chairman of the Kwai Chung District Primary School Heads Association and the member of the Subsidized Primary School Council. In 2016, she was commended by the Home Affairs Bureau for outstanding contributions to youth development and education affairs, focusing on the education and well-being of grassroots children and actively providing counseling and support to children from divorced families.

Mrs. Ruth WONG CHAN Tsz Ying Senior Coordinator (Mediation Services), Hong Kong Family Welfare Society Mrs. Wong is the Senior Coordinator (Mediation Services) of the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, and experienced accredited Family Mediation Supervisor who has handled over 1,000 family mediation cases since 1999. She has been the lead trainer of accredited Family Mediation Training Courses since 2012. She has extensive experiences in conducting live supervision and coaching on Mediation, Mediation CPD programmes and Mediation Training in different agencies, corporates and educational institutes in HK, the Mainland and Macau. She has been specialized in couple counseling.

Mr. Kenny CHENG Kin Chung Parenting Coordinator, Hong Kong Family Welfare Society Mr. Cheng is an experienced social worker in the context of family casework, mediation and co-parenting services. He had been the Manager in the Integrated Family Service Centre for years, providing supervision for social workers. For more than 25 years’ working experience in clinical work, he is now focusing on post-divorce services including co-parenting counseling, parenting co-ordination and parent-child contact service. By delivering these services, he has accumulated substantial experience in dealing with high-conflict parents. Mr. Moses MUI Wai Keung Chief Officer (Family & Community Service), Hong Kong Council of Social Service

Mr. Mui is a registered social worker who has spent over 20 years in the social welfare sector. He is currently the Chief Officer (Family and Community) of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, mainly responsible for the service development in family and community services. Moses is the Council Member of Consortium of Institutes on Family in the Asia Region, member of Hong Kong Advisory Council on AIDS and SC.Net member of Community Investment & Inclusion Fund. Moses holds a Bachelor Social Science degree in Social Work from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Social Science degree in Mental Health from the University of Hong Kong.

Mrs. LAI WONG Suet Wing Parenting Coordinator, Hong Kong Family Welfare Society Mrs. Lai has been doing family services, delivering counseling to couples, families, children for over 20 years in the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society. She had been the Manager in the Integrated Family Service Centre for years, providing supervision for social workers. Currently, her focus of work is on the pre & post-divorce service for families and their children. She is the Accredited Family Mediation Supervisor delivering Family Mediation Service and providing live supervision for Family Mediation Trainees; and the Parenting Coordinator delivering co-parenting counseling and parenting coordination service to the high conflicts co-parents. She is also the clinical supervisor of the Co-parenting and Parenting Coordinator Service of the Agency.

Divorce Service Team Hong Kong Family Welfare Society The Team includes professional social workers from the Family Resource Centre (FRC) and the Parent-child Contact Centre (PCCC) of the Agency. Professional social workers have received intensive on-job trainings on co-parenting counselling / education, parenting coordination, children contact, divorce education and play work for children etc. Upholding the child-focused perspective and with service mission to “Create Two Happy Homes for Children from Divorced Families”, the Team has taken up significant role and acted as head engine to coordinate and drive the development of innovative and indigenous services to better serve the separated / divorced families in Hong Kong.
