*Some of the suspected cases reported for Kailahun yesterday were suspected cases from Bo. ** The Kono case was from Kailahun. NB – CFR is based on confirmed cases Main highlights  A total of 36 suspected cases have been reported with 14 confirmed cases all from Kailahun districts.  Seven (7) new Ebola Laboratory confirmed case from Kailahun districts.  All suspected cases from Bo, Koinadugu, Western area urban are negative  Medical tents prepositioned at Kenema Government Hospital and training of staff completed

Action taken  Discussions commenced with Parliamentarians and communities in Kailahun to allow medical team to get access to patients and their contacts  Outreach medical team now at Koindu , in searching for the missing confirmed cases in the community and conducting contact tracing  Ministry of Health officials and MSF are also in Koindu setting up the isolation unit  Training of medical staff for the isolation unit in Koindu and Kailahun commenced today

There is no travel restriction to any district or neighbouring countries of Guinea and Liberia
