Final Fleet Layout -In Order.Qxd It All Adds Up. It means we’re dedicated to providing everything you need to build a hard-working and cost efficient fleet, including: The most extensive vehicle lineup of any auto manufacturer. + Leading-edge technology. + Knowledgeable, helpful professionals. GM is the largest auto manufacturer in the U.S. and the world – a position we have held for 74 years. This allows us to provide you with a broad portfolio of products and services to help make your business successful. We're proud of what we have accomplished and we also understand that we don't have a birthright to lead. We have to earn it every day. That’s what we’re doing, today and in the months and years ahead. 2006 vehicles This year’s selection of over 100 GM fleet cars, trucks, vans and SUVs ranges from the Chevy Aveo to the GMC TopKick, and everything in between. The 2006 lineup includes the all new 2006 Chevrolet Impala, featuring the standard 3.5L V6. The Impala gets 21 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway – best in class for highway driving1. (In fact, 19 GM models get 30 mpg or better on the highway, more than any other manufacturer2). And the Impala is E85 compatible, like more than a million GM vehicles on the road today. Other new offerings for 2006 include the Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS, Chevrolet HHR, Pontiac Torrent and Saab 9-7x. The Chevrolet Uplander is now available in a regular wheelbase model, and there’s a new cargo version of the existing extended wheelbase model. The GMC Savana and Chevrolet Express vans now have available the Duramax diesel engine in the 2500 and 3500 cargo and cut models. Leading-edge technology Yes, we’ve got the vehicles you need, and we’re using leading-edge technology to make them more cost- efficient and safer. Some examples include Displacement on Demand (DOD), the GM Oil Life Monitoring (OLM) System, Tire Air Pressure Systems, and StabiliTrak. In fact, GM is committed to providing our customers proven life-saving technologies, so we’re making OnStar and StabiliTrak standard on all vehicles by 2007 and 2010, respectively. Helpful, knowledgeable professionals • For larger fleets, one of our experienced, knowledgeable Fleet Account Executives (FAE) can answer all your questions, and is just a phone call away. • The professionals in the GM Fleet Service Contact Group are dedicated to resolving all vehicle service issues quickly and efficiently, thereby minimizing vehicle downtime and maximizing fleet productivity. • Our Fleet Action Center is staffed with seasoned fleet professionals who can provide managers of smaller fleets with reliable information and answers. • At more than 7,000 GM dealerships across the country, salespeople are ready to help guide you to the right vehicles and spec them to your requirements; and technicians are prepared to service fleet vehicles using quality GM parts and special diagnostic equipment. It all adds up for you. Vehicles. Technology. Support. This guide, redesigned for 2006, provides comprehensive highlights of each model. In addition, www.gmfleet.com is another great source for details, including the Online Order Guide and other frequently updated information. And as always, your Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac, Saab and HUMMER dealers, and Saturn retailers can also provide information and personal service. Your business is important to us and we are working hard to exceed your expectations. Here’s to 2006 adding up for you. Brian McVeigh General Manager 1. 2006 Impala mpg based on GM testing, 2006 EPA estimates not yet available; best in large car class for highway driving, based on 2005 EPA estimates. 2. If fluid, such as melted snow containing road salt, enters the driver’s door module, it may cause corrosion that could result in a short in the circuit board. A short may cause the power door lock and power window switches to function intermittently or may stop working. SAFETY RISK: A short may cause overheating, which could melt components of the door module, producing odor, smoke, or a fire. Additionally, the windows may raise or lower themselves, without user input. These conditions may occur even with the vehicle parked and the key removed. Customers should park the vehicle outdoors until it has been remedied. REMEDY: Dealers are to inspect the part number of the door module and, if necessary, install a new door module free of charge. RECALL STATUS: Recall INCOMPLETE MANUFACTURER NOTES: Visit manufacturer website at https://my.gm.com/recalls for more information. If the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle in a timely manner, please contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at: 18883274236 or TTY: 18004249153 or file an online complaint with NHTSA.
