OPEN WATER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP The US Open Water National Championships return to Miromar Lakes the weekend of April 24-26. The 2015 10K Championship race is a trial for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The top open water swimmers in the country are vying for spots on the Open Water World Championship Team and the USA Swimming Open Water National Team. Miromar Lakes has hosted numerous open water swimming events including two previous Olympic trials.
