No. 1 No. 2 No. 9 Date: Saturday, March 11; 7 p.m. Huskers Head to Norman For Round Two Up Next: vs. Air Force, March 19, 2 p.m. After hosting the defending national champion Oklahoma Sooners last Sunday, the No. 9 Bob Devaney Sports Center Nebraska men’s gymnastics team travels to Norman, Okla., this Saturday, March 11 where OU Lincoln, Neb. will return the favor at the Lloyd Noble Center at 7 p.m. The meet also features No. 2 Stanford in triangular competition. Round two between the Mountain Pacifi c Sports Federation conference rivals takes place following an Oklahoma win in Lincoln, 214.65-208.65. The meet marked the second time the 2005-06 Schedule two squads had met in 2006, the fi rst of which took place at the Rocky Mountain Open on Jan. Individually, Nebraska took one event Feb. 2-4 at Winter Cup NTS title away from the Sooners with a fi rst-place fi nish on the vault by senior Nick Moore (9.45). (Las Vegas, Nev.) This is the second time Nebraska will face Stanford, as the Huskers made an appearance at Feb. 12 Iowa L; 209.45-206.60 the Stanford Open on Jan. 21 where they fi nished third (198.475) behind Stanford and Cal. The Cardinal have had tremendous success in 2006, posting a three-score average of 216.658 Feb. 18 at Minnesota L; 204.15-202.90 behind Oklahoma’s 216.683. As this is the last regular-season meet for both Oklahoma and March 5 Oklahoma L; 214.65-208.65 Stanford, Saturday’s meet will determine which program heads to nationals in fi rst-place. March 11 at Oklahoma 7 p.m. For the Huskers, the meet is one of two remaining regular-season competitions. NU returns (Norman, Okla.) to the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Sunday, March 19 for a 2 p.m. showdown with the Air March 19 Air Force 2 p.m. Force Falcons.
