LIQUID LYE ALKALINE CLEANER

Powerful

LIQUID LYE is a powerful, concentrated alkaline cleaner, containing no less than 50% Sodium Hydroxide.

LIQUID LYE has a wide variety of uses and can effectively remove: • Organic Soils • Paints and Varnishes • Moss and Mildew • Weeds

LIQUID LYE can also effectively unclog drains.

LIQUID LYE is a very economical alkaline cleaner when used as Directed.

GENERAL USE DIRECTIONS:

Dilution: ALWAYS ADD LIQUID LYE to required quantity of water. NEVER add water to LIQUID LYE. Kennels, Stables, Pens and Dustbins: Mix 1 Cup of LIQUID LYE to 1/2 bucket of water. Lightly scrub the area to be cleaned. Wash treated area thoroughly with cool water. Paint and Varnish Removal: Use undiluted. Spread LIQUID LYE over area, let stand for ten minutes, scrape clean. After all paint or varnish is removed, was surface well. Killing Weeds: Add 1 Cup of LIQUID LYE to 1 Gallon of Water. Mix thoroughly, sprinkle on weeds, waste matter, etc. Keep all animals clear of treated areas. Declogging Pipes and Drains: Pour 1 Cup of LIQUID LYE into drain, let stand for 1/2 an hour then flush with water. Removal of Slime, Grease and Moss from Concrete, and Other Surfaces.: Add 1 Cup of LIQUID LYE to 1/2 bucket of water. Pour onto area to be treated. Let stand for ten minutes. Lightly scrub and wash clean with water.

  KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.  DO NOT MIX WITH ANYTHING BUT WATER.  STORE IN A TIGHTLY CLOSED CONTAINER.  DO NOT REUSE CONTAINER.  FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. 

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Sodium Hydroxide

DANGER: CAUSES SEVERE BURNS. This product must always be handled with the maximum of care as it contains a very high percentage of Sodium Hydroxide. Harmful if swallowed. Eye irritant. Protect skin, eyes and mucous membranes from contact with this product or solutions of it. Wear rubber gloves.

FIRST AID: EXTERNAL: Immediately apply vinegar, if readily available. Immediately flush skin with plenty of cool running water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If burning persists, GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. EYES: Immediately flush with plenty of cool running water. Remove contact lenses, if applicable. Continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Contact an Optometrist. INTERNAL: Do not induce vomiting, give 200-500ml of water to drink after which drink Citrus Juices or a weak solution of Vinegar. If consumed in quantities more than 20 gms. GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.
