1. THE ACCOMODATION

. CSA La Torre

Social Centre “La Torre” is a group of people joined with the conviction to tempt and find alternative forms of sociality, way of life and possibility of struggle. It's a grassroot self- managed and self-funded group promoting various political, social and cultural activities in Rome since 1994. They organize concerts, theatre plays, photo exhibits, debates, film projections, book presentations, a monthly farmers' market and several other activities as a daily summer camp for kids during July.

“La Torre” is located inside the Valle dell'Aniene natural reserve, a large urban park in the outskirts of Rome. In addition to the green area the site includes also two structures hosting a kitchen that prepares organic/local food, a bar and a gym that are open daily.

2 . The camping

The accommodation will be in tent in La Torre camping area, toilets and showers will be outdoor and set up within the area.

A Sud will provide tents and mats to participants. Please bring your own sleeping bag (a de- tailed what-to-bring list is provided below) and be prepared to share the tent with other par- ticipants.

Due to the presence of other activities in the social centre during the week (as the summer camp for kids), all the participants will be ask to keep the essential in the tents and bring the baggage in a specific locked room inside the structure. Participants will be allowed to enter the room according to specific time-slot during the day.

At the arrival we will provide you a map with all the facilities.

. The kitchen

At CSA La Torre there is a big kitchen preparing organic meals for a lot of people daily. We will enjoy from that, having breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared from them. Keeping in mind participants’ requests and sustainability we will have a vegetarian menu during the whole week with local/organic products. If you follow a specific diet (and haven’t done it yet) please inform us as soon as possible.

Every participant is expected to help cleaning and prepare the space for the meals after the activities and set and clear the tables.
