A Biographical Sketch

Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born August 20th, 1890, in Providence, Rhode Island, about a mile east of 66 College Street, where now lives. Began to read at four; Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Arabian Nights being among the first volumes he seized upon. Later, he came across books about Greek and Roman mythology and was still more fascinated by them.
