Christine Lagarde wurde als Präsidentin der Europäischen Zentralbank eine der mächtigsten Wirtschaftsführerinnen. Ihren Job beim Internatio- nalen Währungsfonds übernahm die Bulgarin Kris- talina Georgiewa. Zugleich wurde die EU-Kommissi- on von der Deutschen Ursula von der Leyen erobert.
