This competition for boys and girls has been sponsored by the Knights since 1972. After competing at the local level, winners go to the district, regional, and state lev- el. Some winners even go to the international level. Thanks to Chairman Bob Melosi and his team of fellow Knights, this is one method of working in the community as well as giving youngsters a rewarding activity.

Knights of Columbus Major Degree To Be Held Highland Council 1580 is holding a Major Degree on Sunday, March 8, 2015. If you know of any Catholic man, 18 years or older especially your college age sons and grandsons, who wishes to become closer to his family, strengthen his faith and give back to the community ask him to come join us. Candidates wishing to join at this time should be at the Highland KC Hall at 12:30 pm. Also, any First Degree Knights are encouraged to participate in the 2nd and 3rd Degree ceremonies. These are the next steps on your way to becoming fully vested in the Knights of Columbus. Current First Degree members should be at the KC hall no later that 1:30 pm.
