Out of the blue, there was a face from the past. It was as if I had run into an old friend. Sitting in a movie theater, I was watching The King's Speech, the story of the stuttering King George VI and his partnership with Lionel Logue, the maverick Australian speech therapist who forged an unlikely friendship and worked together to cure the king of his disability. It is rich and fascinating, with some excellent performances.
