The CWU B.S. Business Administration - Supply Chain Management specialization adopts a systems orientation toward business strategy and management. Our graduates understand that the most successful companies collaborate among functions within the organization as well as between organizations in the supply chain. The success of the CWU program can be attributed to the mix of industry involvement, administration support, and a cadre of full-time, PhD educated faculty. The faculty team combines industry experience with academic credentials from leading logistics, operations, and supply chain university programs in the U.S. and around the world. CWU supply chain graduates accept positions in demand management, material management, logistics, operation’s, supply management, customer service as well as other areas. Companies hiring CWU supply chain graduates include PACCAR, the Boeing

Application Process Application for Admission to Central Washington University is available at www.cwu.edu/admissions. Submit official electronic transcripts to CWU-Ellensburg and a hard copy to CWU-Pierce County from any colleges or universities you have attended. Submit a final official transcript once your Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) associates degree is posted or required preadmission coursework is complete. Upon admission to Central Washington University, students must apply and be admitted to the Business Administration major prior to enrolling in the CWU-Pierce County Supply Chain Management cohort program. Applicants must have completed all university general education requirements, or complete a DTA, or have post-baccalaureate status. Applications must be accompanied by transcripts that illustrate all prior college work has been completed.
Admission Requirements A cumulative GPA of 2.5 in the pre-admission requirements must be achieved with a minimum grade of “C-” (1.7) in each course, along with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all collegiate study. Students who have met all requirements will be admitted unless the number of applicants exceeds available space. In that case, acceptance will be competitive, based on a selection index.

Course Delivery The B.S. Business Administration - Supply Chain Management specialization offered at CWU-Pierce County is delivered to cohorts of up to 30 students. Students enter and complete each course as a group and the program extends over seven quarters. The program blends core business courses, supply chain specialty courses as well as emphasis courses in leadership and decision-making. Courses may be delivered in traditional classroom setting, in a hybrid format blending classroom and on-line delivery as well as fully on-line. Total Program Credits 81-83 * Awaiting final course approval Graduation Requirements A minimum of 180 quarter credits is required for a baccalaureate degree. Central allows a maximum of 135 quarter (90 semester) credits to transfer from regionally accredited four-year institutions, including no more than 105 quarter (70 semester) credits of lower-division (100-200 level) coursework from a regionally accredited community college. A minimum of 60 credits of upper- division study is required.
To graduate with a business administration degree, the department requires a cumulative GPA of at least 2.25 in upper-division courses completed at CWU, in addition to the university GPA requirements that apply to all CWU major programs.
